Diversity increases BASF’s competitiveness. A variety of attitudes, experience and intercultural competence are essential to offer intelligent solutions for the global market. We foster a wide range of personalities and thus enhance our competitiveness.
Today, in BCT, our team includes 17 different nationalities in 7 different countries: Algerians, French, Tunisian, Moroccans, German, British, Indian, Pakistani, Filipinos, Iranian, Belgium, Sri Lankan, Bahraini, Austrian, South African, Egyptian, Turkish. In BASF Group, our team of senior executives comes from 31 different countries. In the future, we want this team to reflect even more strongly the global nature of our business. According to current plans, we aim to increase significantly the proportion of non-German senior executives and female senior executives. Special programs to specifically recruit or actively develop women in managerial positions are in place.
