We service the markets in our region with our active ingredients, excipients and vitamins for the pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, animal and human nutrition industries.
Animal Nutrition: Our extensive range of products includes vitamins, vitamin mixes, carotenoids, organic acids, lysine and feed enzymes. The poultry industry is the main sector for us in our region where we supply the industry via local premix producers with which we work in close cooperation and give technical support. Special focus is given to the needs of the region in regard of optimizing local feed and to add value with enzymes.
Human Nutrition: Our range of products is used by the food industry to add value to their products and to contribute to healthy and balanced nutrition. In close cooperation with the UN and NGO’s, we are supporting food fortification programs in our region. In this regard edible oil, margarine, sugar and flour are fortified with our vitamins.
Pharma: BASF offers a wide range of excipients for the formulation of pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical active ingredients for various therapeutic areas. Especially the generics industry has significant importance in the region. Here, we work together with our customers, to develop generic formulations with our active ingredients and excipients, e.g. special polymers for tablet coating, binders, solubilisers, … to find solutions for their problems and to continuously improve their quality.
Cosmetics & Aroma Chemicals: With our range of high quality and innovative products we are supporting the strongly growing cosmetics industry in our region in the production of sunscreen, skin care and hair care products. We are especially strong with our products for hair styling products.
